Last summer, Xiaomi launched a Pro version of the previous Watch S1 for the first time, but only in China for the time being. Well, at the MWC in Barcelona, the premium smartwatch was also announced for the global market; at least partially, because nothing is known regarding a Swiss start.
Visually, the watch comes in a generic yet chic design. So there is a choice between a black and a silver model, with a black rubber strap or a brown leather strap.
The case has a diameter of 46 millimeters and holds a 1.47-inch AMOLED display. On the side there is a rotating crown and button for navigating through Xiaomi’s own MIUI Watch OS.
The manufacturer installs all common sensors for tracking heart rate, blood oxygen and sleep. A number of workouts and activities can also be recorded with the Xiaomi Watch S1 Pro.
Despite all this, the watch should last a long time with a battery life of up to 14 days. In Germany, the smartwatch can now be bought for 299.99 euros. It is unclear whether she will also end up in Switzerland.
