The Yemeni president announces the opening of Sanaa airport, the release of all prisoners, and the opening of crossings in Taiz

Al-Marsad newspaper: Yemeni Minister of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates Affairs Ahmed Awad bin Mubarak announced the issuance of directives to implement a truce during the month of Ramadan.

He issued a statement saying, “In line with the firm position of the Yemeni government in supporting any efforts that alleviate the human suffering of our people, and in light of the positive atmosphere of Yemeni-Yemeni consultations in

Riyadh and the regional and international initiatives calling for a truce on the occasion of the holy month

Clear directives from His Excellency the President to deal positively with all arrangements

necessary to release all prisoners.

The statement added that the directions also included the opening of Sanaa airport, the launching of oil derivatives ships through the port of Hodeidah, the opening of the crossings in the besieged city of Taiz, and all that would alleviate the suffering of the Yemeni people caused by the Houthi militia.
