Kollam – A young woman was found hanging dead in her husband’s house at Puthur Pavithreswaram, Kottarakkara. Sheena (34) died in Vanchimuk Raghu Mandir, Pavithreswaram. Sheena was found hanging dead at eleven in the morning. Sheena, who dropped her children at school yesterday morning and went upstairs, was found hanging in her bedroom when she did not return following a long time.
Sheena’s husband Rajesh is abroad. Sheena lived with Rajesh’s parents, sister and sister’s husband. Sheena’s relatives alleged that Rajesh’s sister would have beaten Sheena. Relatives allege that Sheena was beaten by her sister-in-law even in front of her husband. The body was shifted to Paripally Medical College for post-mortem. Puthur police registered a case and started investigation.
