On Easter Sunday, the finance minister made a completely unexpected trip to China, where he would further strengthen the economic relations between the two countries.
Minister of Finance Mihály Varga did not miss the sprinkling, but at the same time he unexpectedly left for negotiations in China on Easter Sunday, the head of the ministry reported on his Facebook page. According to Index information, days full of work await the portfolio manager, as today he is negotiating with, among other things, the Chinese finance minister, Lan Foan.

The head of the ministry wants to further strengthen the Chinese-Hungarian economic relations. Whether this means that he wants to obtain another Chinese loan to correct the already almost broken budget, or that he actually wants to strengthen the official position – instead of blocking and seclusion, it is necessary to strengthen cooperation between Europe and China – we cannot yet know.
