Riyadh: There is a possibility of heavy rain in different parts of Saudi Arabia from today (Monday). Jeddah Directorate of Education Spokesperson Hamoud Al-Sakheeran announced that schools in Jeddah, Rabigh and Khulais will be closed tomorrow.
This is due to the warning of the Meteorological Department that there is a possibility of rain. Officials informed that the children will have to attend the classes tomorrow through the Madrasathi platform. The National Meteorological Center has warned today that medium to heavy rain will continue till next Thursday, including the areas of Jeddah, Rabigh, Taif, Al Jamum, Al Kamil, Khulais, Al Laith, Kunfuda, Al Ardiat and Adam Meizan in Makkah province.
It will also spread to areas including Al-Mahd, Wadi Farah and Al-Hanaqiyya in Madinah province with moderate rainfall. Most of the governorates of Hail, Baqa, Al-Ghazala and Al Shanan in the Rafah and Hail region on the northern border will fall under the rainfall zone.
