Residents can receive a one-time tax refund if they had a tax liability in tax year 2020, totaling up to $250 for single filers, $375 for heads of households and $500 for couples filing jointly. To qualify, residents must have filed their 2020 and 2021 returns by April 18, 2022. However, if an extension request was submitted for fiscal year 2021, you have until October 17, 2022 to file your 2021 return.
