A video of the explosion of a nitric acid tank that occurred on Tuesday in Severodonetsk, Luhansk region, where fighting is underway, appeared on Telegram channels.
The explosion occurred at the Azot chemical plant.

Earlier it was reported that the city is facing an ecological disaster because of this explosion. Residents of Severodonetsk and the surrounding area were asked not to leave their shelters. They were also reminded that nitric acid in contact with the skin and mucous membranes, as well as when swallowed and inhaled, is very dangerous. They were advised to use masks soaked in soda solution.
