The new extension of the multi-storey car park in the courtyard of the Chief Police Commissariat of Klaipėda County, Kauno str. 6, according to the contract should arise within a year. The entire procurement procedure and litigation with the bidders took more than one and a half years.
“This case shows how difficult it is to predict the public procurement process, new legal practice has even been formed along the way. We hope that the company that won the tender will keep its commitments and build the facility within a year, as agreed. We will pay special attention to the maintenance and timely completion of this delayed project”, says Ernestas Česokas, interim manager of Turto bankas.
According to the project, it is planned to build a four-story parking lot in the yard of the commissariat, which will be used for employees’ cars. Entrances to the commissariat building will be provided from each floor of the site
The total area of the parking lot is almost 5,237 square meters. m. A total of 205 parking spaces are planned: 36 spaces in the underground parking lot under the building, 42 spaces each on the first, second and third floors, and 43 on the fourth floor. It is planned to install 3 spaces for electric cars on each floor, for a total of 15 spaces. The first floor will also have 8 spaces for the cars of people with special needs. Also designed for 20 places for bicycles and motorcycles.
The Klaipėda Courts building will also be built on the side of the multi-storey parking lot and the police station, and the works of the architectural competition organized by Turtos bankas are currently being evaluated.
