The list of banks leading the credit portfolio in Venezuela was recently released, according to financial statements up to June 30.

And its website Finanzas Digital revealed the names of the ten leading banks in Venezuela.

According to the report, these entities lead the credit portfolio and consolidate 92.46% of the total credits of the Venezuelan banking sector.

It is also added that the first five have a market share of more than 9%.

Banco de Venezuela accounts for 30.61% of total loans, with an 8.33 percentage point year-on-year increase in total market share.

BBVA Provincial’s portfolio stood at Bs 10.69 billion ($293.57 million), maintaining a market share of 15.09%, cites Digital Finance.
