At the weekend, a Hungarian vacationer in Styria got into a rare but all the more horrific emergency: he was bitten by a poisonous snake. The man, who was traveling with a hiking group near Mariazell, was injured by a black adder, also known as hell viper. At first he went further, but when his health deteriorated, the rescue was alerted. Finally, the man was taken to the Leoben State Hospital with the emergency doctor helicopter Christophorus 17, like several others media reported.
