A driver on Route 43, who makes his way from Ciudad Delgado to San Salvador, was arrested following running over a person, who lost his life at the time, reported the National Civil Police (PNC), on Sunday night.
Authorities identified the collective transport employee as Carlos Isaías Ávalos, 26 years old.
“This day he ran over a person on Army Boulevard, Soyapango. The victim is an older adult who was crossing the street and following the impact he died, ”said the PNC.
According to the report, the victim was a vendor in the area who was run over when he was crossing the street in front of the popular shopping center located in the area.
