A total of 11 people were apprehended by the authorities in different states of the country, because they have committed sexual abuse and lewd acts once morest children and adolescents.
According to Douglas Rico, director of the Criminal, Scientific, Criminal and Criminal Investigation Corps (Cipc), among the detainees is a 17-year-old girl.
Seven men were captured for committing sexual assaults, Rico reported.
While three others will be prosecuted under their guilt in the practice of lewd acts once morest boys and girls.
The suspects range in age from 18 to 65 years old.
Each of the cases was left to the order of the Public Ministry of the states of Zulia, Miranda, La Guaira, Monagas, Lara, Caracas, Apure, Barinas, Sucre and Táchira.
