The Second Guarantee Court of Santiago formalizes the until now only detainee for the kidnapping and crime of the former Venezuelan military officer Ronald Ojeda, whose body was found this Friday in Maipú.
The detainee is a 17-year-old man, of Venezuelan nationality, who entered Chile irregularly.
The lawyer for Ojeda’s family, Juan Carlos Manríquez, confirmed that the victim’s wife had partial access to the remains and requested to see the complete body, pending full identification.
“We hope so, a simple question of logic says that an operation of this type requires at least six steps: planning, location of resources, detection of blind spots, locating cars, collaborators, people and economic resources, extracting that person , transfer it, transfer it to a second car, choose a place of execution, another place of burial, collaboration of those, it is criminal storage in repeated places, and that is not done by a single person and in my modest opinion not by a minor under 17 years of age. alone,” said the lawyer.
