They hacked the Instagram of a journalist from Córdoba and scammed two of her followers

As we told you days ago in The voice, virtual scams multiplied during the summer; now it was the turn of a journalist from El Doce.

Yanina Soria, the host of Buenas Noches Córdoba, had her Instagram account hacked.

How the followers of the El Doce journalist were scammed

The scam ploy is simple: cybercriminals use the account by sending private messages to their followers offering dollars and asking for loans.

Two of his contacts were scammed.

“As the hours go by, the situation becomes increasingly complex,” he commented.

“This person who usurped my account was posing as me, offering dollars and asking my contacts for loans,” he added. The journalist pointed out that one of his followers fell for the deception and was defrauded for 400,000 pesos. They took 30,000 pesos from another.

When making his case public, he stressed that no one is exempt from this problem, despite the warnings that are disseminated on the subject. “It is important if someone receives sales proposals for dollars through networks, for loans, that he distrusts them,” he recommended.

The fact that he suffered in his own flesh coincided while he was working on a journalistic note regarding the hacking of more than 12 million pesos that a Cordovan company suffered.
