The Government of El Salvador, through the Ministry of Economy, together with the General Directorate of Customs El Salvador, met with institutions and members of the business sector at the La Hachadura border, to select inputs for the Facilitation Strategy that seeks to accelerate the processes of trade in the country.
“With this strategy our objective is to eliminate all barriers and generate trade facilitation and fulfill the dream of El Salvador becoming a logistics distribution center,” said Minister María Luisa Hayem.
The objective of the proposed strategies is to strengthen economic development, through the streamlining, modernization and simplification of El Salvador’s foreign trade operations.
