This Monday, the Salvadoran Institute for the Development of Women (ISDEMU), the Spanish Agency for International Development Cooperation, the European Union and the ESCO presented the “Project for the Economic Empowerment of Women in Prioritized Municipalities of El Salvador” .

«We are convinced of gender equality, in no country in the world can poverty be fought without empowering women. There is still a long way to go so that women can choose the career they want to follow,” said the ambassador of the European Union, François Roudié.

The initiative will benefit 19,800 Salvadoran families from 23 municipalities, with an investment of 10,225,000.00 euros.
