They promote the return of Paraguayan entrepreneurs to contribute to the development of the country

Asunción, IP Agency.- The Ministry of Industry and Commerce reports that the Vice Ministry of MSMEs and the Secretariat of Development for Returnees and National Refugees signed an interinstitutional cooperation agreement. It is to jointly promote the creation of opportunities that facilitate the return of Paraguayan entrepreneurs, to contribute to the growth of the country.

The document was signed by the Vice Minister Gustavo Giménez, and the Minister Executive Secretary of the Secretariat of Returnees, Edgar Ruiz, in order to promote and encourage the creation, development and competitiveness of MSMEs, as well as entrepreneurs.

Vice Minister Giménez highlighted the importance of working together to create opportunities that facilitate the return of compatriots who have been abroad, highlighting the need to generate conditions that allow entrepreneurship and development in Paraguay, as well as the commitment of institutions to support to those who return and want to contribute to the growth of their families and the country.

He also appreciated the efforts of the Returnees Secretariat team and was optimistic about the medium-term results, by working together to offer tools and knowledge that benefit returnees and national development.

For his part, the Minister Executive Secretary of the Secretariat of Returnees, Edgar Ruiz, thanked the Vice Ministry of MSMEs for their collaboration and commitment to helping MSMEs and returnees, emphasizing the importance of the knowledge and experience they bring with them.

The Returnees Secretariat is committed to incorporating application formats and promotion of specific financing opportunities for entrepreneurial returnees, in accordance with good practices to be defined by the National Directorate of Entrepreneurship (Dinaem).

It is also established that both institutions will coordinate care for repatriated entrepreneurs, prioritizing the training and technical assistance spaces available through the IncuCAE or other spaces to support entrepreneurs and microenterprises in the territory.

Likewise, joint work will be done between the MIC and the Secretariat, for specialized attention to those compatriots who are abroad, who wish to return and have intentions of investing their resources in the country.
