Officials from the Scientific, Criminal and Criminal Investigation Corps (Cicpc) rescued a woman who had been kidnapped for two years by a man who was identified as Gerardo Rojas Blanco (52).

The victim is 51 years old and suffers from type 1 bipolar disorder, a condition that the subject took advantage of to subject her to sexual abuse and force her to do housework.

The director of the Cicpc, Douglas Rico, indicated on his Instagram account that members of the Special Victims Division managed to effectively rescue the woman following arduous field work.

He also pointed out that the investigations began when the victim’s relatives filed a complaint for the disappearance of the woman, reporting that she suffered from mental problems and had entered a street situation.

Rojas Blanco took advantage of the suffering of his victim, who was prowling the streets of La Quebradita, El Paraíso parish, Libertador municipality, in Caracas, to kidnap her from her home located at the same address.
