They will investigate a case of alleged medical malpractice in a clinic in Maracaibo

Caracas.- This Friday, the Public Ministry in Zulia state appointed the Fourth Prosecutor to investigate the death of citizen Nilitza Josefina Gutiérrez Gutiérrez, who died of a case of medical malpractice in a health center in the city of Maracaibo.

The incident occurred at the Doctor Adolfo Empire Polyclinic, located in the Maracaibo municipality, capital of the western region, AVN quoted.

The investigation will be treated for alleged omission of the crime according to information released by the Attorney General of the Republic, Tarek William Saab, on his account on the social network Twitter.

“The Public Ministry of Zulia appoints the Fourth Prosecutor’s Office to investigate the death of the citizen Nilitza Josefina Gutierrez Gutierrez in the Policlinica Dr Adolfo D Empire Municipality of Maracaibo, for the alleged commission of the crime of medical malpractice,” said Saab.
