The artist, Elham Shaheen, confirmed that her honor at the Silver Jubilee ceremony of the Media Production City on the occasion of Marwa, 25 years since its founding, yesterday, represents a lot for her, stressing that every place within the Media Production City has multiple memories with her.
“Elham” published a picture of her honor on her account on the social networking site Facebook, commenting on it and writing: “I am very happy to be honored in the Silver Jubilee of the Media Production City, which I had the honor of having the first scene that was filmed in the city. The Arab screen, Faten Hamama, following I presented it on the radio.
And she added: “President Mubarak came on the day of the media people’s feast to open the city and watched the filming of my first scene, beautiful memories that will never be forgotten, and the truth is that most of my dramas, the most important of which were filmed in the production city, every corner of it carries memories of my most beautiful roles and successes, in which I lived the most beautiful time in my life.”
The ceremony witnessed the honoring of Abdel-Fattah Al-Jabali, Chairman of the City’s Board of Directors, to the former heads of the City’s Board of Directors, namely Abdel-Rahman Hafez, Hassan Hamed, Sayed Helmy, Sami Badawi, Osama Haikal, in addition to honoring the directors Magdi Abu Amira, Muhammad Fadel, the name of the late Yahya Al-Alami, the name of the late Mamdouh Al-Laithi , Rabab Hussein, Inaam Muhammad Ali, the name of Ismail Abdel Hafez, the name of Osama Anwar Okasha, and among the artists Karam only Samira Ahmed, Elham Shaheen, Lotfi Labib, who was unable to go on stage due to his health conditions and received his honor in his seat.
