Through its social media, Girona FC shared an image of Yangel Herrera, La Vinotinto’s midfielder, with a caption reading “Girona has faith.” This was conveyed on its Instagram and X networks, formerly Twitter, on the latter he wrote: “Mano, Girona has faith,” along with an emoji of the Venezuelan flag.

It is worth noting that this is not the first time that the European club has spoken out regarding La Vinotinto’s participation in the Copa América. After Sunday’s 3-0 victory over Jamaica, Girona published a photograph of Herrera, who is also part of its squad.
