Decathlon has been working since June for a “sports mask” dedicated to sports hall enthusiasts. Its prototype has just received the green light from the competent body in the matter, its marketing, it could begin at the end of March, in France, reveals France 3.
Validated by Afnor
Afnor, the French Association for Standardization, has just published specifications to be observed in order to market this type of product which “fully meets the characteristics of the mask developed by Decathlon”, specifies the information site.
A mask suitable for sport
This mask is particularly suitable for intense physical activity. It provides better air filtration, good “breathability”, solid support against movement and optimal moisture management.
However, its launch on the market will not necessarily coincide with a possible reopening of sports halls …
In France, then in Belgium?
The date of its marketing in Belgium is not known for the moment, this mask was designed in compliance with the standards in force in France, and these obviously differ from one country to another. This approval therefore only concerns the French market, for the moment at least, a spokesperson for Decathlon Belgium told the news site “7sur7”.
