Since he suffered a very serious accident while skiing in December 2013, Michael Schumacher’s health has been a real unknown.

The ‘Kaiser’s’ family has repeatedly asked that their privacy be respected and they have tried to protect the German as much as possible.

However, a former Schumacher security employee tried to take advantage of the situation.

The man contacted a nightclub bouncer and his son to extort his family with photos and videos of Michael if they did not pay an amount that amounted to 15 million euros.

The German authorities pulled the thread of the threats and arrested the father and son in June, seizing 1,500 documents, including photographs, videos and medical reports of the German on hard drives, USB drives and mobile phones.

Later, after the nightclub bouncer confessed who had provided them with the audiovisual material, the police proceeded to arrest the former employee.

Now, the Wuppertal Prosecutor’s Office has filed charges against the three investigated for extorting Michael Schumacher’s family.
