PACHUCA DE SOTO, 04 JUL /NEWS HIDALGO/.- More than three thousand 500 students from all semesters of the degrees in Medical Surgeon and Dental Surgeon that are offered in various academic units of the Autonomous University of the State of Hidalgo (UAEH), joined classes this Monday, July 3 to study the July-December 2023 school year, as indicated in the school calendar for both academic areas.
In this sense, it should be noted that for both careers, 3,200 students returned to the classroom to continue their undergraduate studies, while of the total number of applicants to join the Garza community, only a little more than 400 students managed to satisfactorily pass the exam. admission exam to take their first semester in one of the academic units.
It must be remembered that currently the Degree in Dentist Surgeon is offered only at the Institute of Health Sciences (ICSa), while the Degree in Surgeon, in addition to being taught at said campus, is also offered in the higher schools of Huejutla ( ESH), Tepeji del Río (ESTe), Tlahuelilpan (ESTI) and the University City of Tulancingo, in order to bring higher education closer to these regions.
