Doha: Three cities in Qatar have been included in the UNESCO list. Doha, Al Rayyan and Al Dayen, three cities in Qatar have been included in the Global Network of Learning Cities of the UNESCO Institute for Lifelong Learning.

Six of the country’s municipalities are now members of the UNESCO Learning Cities Network, including the previously included cities of Al Waqra, Al Shamal and Al Shahaniya.

The addition of these three cities to the Learning Cities Network is also a new achievement for the Ministry of Municipalities represented by these municipalities. It is also a recognition of the country’s journey and commitment to achieve the Qatar National Vision 2030 through sustainable development.
