“Thuggery” and “foolishness after it is folly” .. Dhahi Khalfan criticizes the US “NOPEC” bill

Dubai, United Arab Emirates (CNN) – Lieutenant-General Dhahi Khalfan, Deputy Chief of Dubai Police, criticized the American bill “NOPEC”, which targets oil-exporting countries, in light of the continued refusal of the “OPEC Plus” group to increase oil production despite the high prices.

Last week, a US Senate Judicial Committee approved the “NOPEC” bill, and the bill still needs to be approved by the Senate and House (Congress) and then signed by President Joe Biden. The legislation allows the US Department of Justice to file lawsuits once morest oil-exporting countries and enforce antitrust laws.

Khalfan said, via his Twitter account: “If America issues a law to lift the immunity of the oil-producing countries’ money for their refusal to increase production… then this is a folly beyond foolishness,” adding: “The law to punish oil-producing countries that do not raise their oil production as America desires.” Bullying Law”.

Khalfan continued by saying, in another tweet, that “whenever the time comes, we say, perhaps, that a sane American president will emerge following Clinton… we will be surprised by a president who is more insane than the one before him,” as he put it.
