OWENS MILLS, Md. (AP) — The Baltimore Ravens said tight end Mark Andrews was involved in a car accident on his way to the team’s training facility on Wednesday but did not appear to be injured.
Andrew was evaluated by the facility’s medical staff and later attended a morning meeting. He was not scheduled to practice Wednesday and is expected to return soon.
“He thanked everyone for their good wishes and thoughts,” Andrews said in a statement. “This is a good reminder of the importance of wearing your seat belt and staying alert when driving.”
