Julius Randle carried the Knicks on his broad shoulders with 57 points 19/29 on shots including 8/14 three-pointers, 11/13 on free throws and 4 rebounds in 37 minutes of playing time. Randle even does better than Carmelo Anthony with a franchise record, 26 points in the third quarter, now held by Melo with 25 points on February 19, 2017.
Also, over the last 25 seasons, the left-hander is the only Knicks player to score 50 points in three quarters since the 56 points of Melo on January 24, 2014.

In the Eastern standings, New York is fifth with 42 wins and 31 losses. West, Minnesota is eighth at 36-37.
