In particular, in one of the stores in Grodno, the excess of the trade markup for nuts and dried fruits reached 45%. For individual entrepreneurs in one of the markets, the markup on toothpaste and sanitary napkins was exceeded by up to 300%.
In addition, retail prices for vegetables in one of Shchuchin’s retail outlets were formed with a 25% excess of the trade markup. However, following the controllers issued recommendations to eliminate the shortcomings, in all cases the prices were brought in line with the requirements of the law.
– We paid special attention to the sale of domestically produced fruits and vegetables of good quality. Representatives of large retail chains were pointed out that the products of the stabilization funds were not sampled by the custodians, the State Control Committee of the Grodno Region noted.
For violations in the formation of prices for the whole of 2022, as well as January-February of this year, 48 people were brought to disciplinary responsibility.
