Every day, nearly a thousand calls are received by the 50 employees of this service. Nadine Genesse, who works for this service, calls one of the subscribers to test the correct operation of the locket and recall the procedure: “Sf you fall into the kitchen, you press your little locket, and we get the call. If we can’t hear you on the device, we know you’re too far away. So we’ll call you. If you don’t answer the phone, we’ll call the people on your contact list to check if everything is okay. Now, we’re going to do the little test we do every month.“
Among the hundreds of daily calls, between 20 and 30 phone calls are from people who are in difficulty. Nadine reassures: “There is more administrative work, technical tests, than falls or attacks. This morning, however, I had a flight. A person entered a subscriber’s house, so I immediately called the police.“
