Top US Banks Announce Stock Dividend Increases Following Federal Reserve Stress Test Approval

Major US banks including Morgan Stanley, JPMorgan Chase & Co, Citigroup and Goldman Sachs announced stock dividend increases on Friday, June 30. following passing the latest stress test from the Federal Reserve (Fed).

JPMorgan announced plans to increase its stock dividend from $1 per share to $1.05 per share for the third quarter of 2023, but this is subject to board approval.

Morgan Stanley said it would raise its quarterly stock dividend from the current 77.5 cents per share to 85 cents per share starting in Q3 2023.

Goldman Sachs Group, Inc. announced it would increase its dividend from $2.50 per share to $2.75 per share starting in July.

Citigroup Inc. said its board has approved an increase in its stock dividend from 51 cents per share to 53 cents per share starting in the third quarter of 2023.
