A storm front swept over Germany on Thursday and also caused individual fire brigade operations in Bonn and the region. In the course of the evening the weather situation calmed down again. On Friday, however, new storms threaten. Even tornadoes are possible, according to the German Weather Service. Schools in Bonn and the region have to close. Widespread severe, sometimes extreme thunderstorms as well as storm and hurricane gusts, heavy rain with 40 liters per square meter in one hour and hail with a particle size of five centimeters are expected.
