Slovenian Tadi Pogachar, the UAE rider, outperformed his Danish rival, Jonas Wengard, to win the sixth stage of the Tour de France, yesterday, which saw Australian Guy Hindley quickly lose the yellow jersey, which the overall leader gets.
Yesterday, Pogachar seemed to be suffering from the effects of his recent injury, losing a large time difference to Viningard, while Hindley won the yellow jersey, but everything changed following yesterday’s race, which took place in the Pyrenees, as Pogachar turned things upside down once more.
Bogachar rose up 2.7 kilometers before the end of the 145-kilometer stage, finally snatching the lead from Vinegard, following he outperformed him by 24 seconds.
Despite his failure to win the stage, Vingard won the yellow jersey, following he advanced in the general standings over Hindley, whose joy at the top did not last long, according to the British news agency, BA Media.
