Trade. 79% of wholesalers expect stable sales in the 4th quarter

The expectations of 79% of wholesalers show stability in the overall volume of sales for the 4th quarter of 2022 and a drop according to 12% of them, indicates the High Commission for Planning (HCP). This development would be mainly attributable, on the one hand, to the expected drop in sales in “Wholesale trade of food, beverages and tobacco” and “Wholesale trade of other industrial equipment” and, on the other part, to the increase in sales in “Other specialized wholesale trade” and “Wholesale trade in raw agricultural products and live animals”, explains the HCP in an information note relating to the results of the quarterly business tendency surveys non-financial market services and wholesale trade sectors.
