In Moscow, on February 29, traffic will be temporarily closed on several central streets due to Vladimir Putin’s address to the Federal Assembly.

How reports Moscow Department of Transport, from 5:00 until the end of the event, traffic will be blocked on the streets of Varvarka (from Kitaygorodsky Proezd to the Bolshoi Moskvoretsky Bridge), Ilyinka (from New Square to Red Square), Moskvoretskaya (from the Bolshoi Kamenny Bridge to the Kremlin Embankment), Vasilyevsky Spusk , Bolshoi Moskvoretsky Bridge (from Varvarka Street to Lubochny Lane).

Also, on Ilyinka, Varvarka and Moskvoretskaya streets, parking of vehicles is prohibited from 00:01 on February 29 until the end of the message.

Putin will deliver a message to the Federal Assembly at Gostiny Dvor at 12:00 on February 29. In 2024, the president’s message, in addition to broadcast on federal channels, will be shown free of charge in 23 cinemas in 20 Russian cities.
