A fan of Raja Casablanca was killed in the vicinity of Mohammed V Sports Stadium during a match that brought together Al-Raja and Al-Ahly of Egypt in the second leg of the African Champions quarter-finals.
According to informed sources, the fan from the city of Mohammedia fell into a coma outside the stands as a result of the massive stampede and crowding before the start of the match, and she was quickly transferred to Moulay Youssef Hospital for treatment, to die in the same hospital.
An investigation was opened by the security authorities to determine the circumstances and causes of death.
