A 37-year-old woman from Grez-Doiceau died on Sunday followingnoon following finding herself under her horse in Meldert (Hoegaarden), the Flemish East Brabant rescue zone announced.
The victim was with his 9-year-old son and his horse on a country lane in Meldert when the accident occurred, around 3:30 p.m. The 30-year-old and her horse fell off a bridge over a small river, and the horse ran over the mother. The circumstances of the fall are not yet clear.
