A person who was crossing the boulevard from the pedestrian crossing at rue Vauban was hit by a car. The latter circulated in the direction leading to the Center Hospitalier de Wallonie Picarde.
Despite the intervention of emergency services, the victim unfortunately might not be saved.
The police secured the scene during the intervention. Numerous traffic jams have been recorded.
