Kottayam: Three youths died in a collision between a bike and a lorry in Kumaranallur. The bikers Praveen (24) from Travancore, Alvin (22) from Sankranti and Muhammad Farooq (20) from Thonduthara have died.
The accident took place on Thursday evening at Kochalum Chuvath on the Kumaranallur-Kudumalur route. All three died on the spot. Eyewitnesses said that the speeding bike hit the oncoming Taurus lorry and the three were not wearing helmets. The bodies were shifted to Kottayam Medical College.
