A 17-year-old Las Vegas student was beaten to death by a group of regarding 15 students near his high school, according to Fox News.
Jonathan Lewis lost his life last Tuesday, nearly two weeks following being violently attacked outside Rancho High School.
His father, who has the same name as the victim, hopes that his son’s death will fuel reflection on the subject of violence among young people.
“Half the time, teenagers don’t even know what they’re doing,” he said. I love my son with all my heart and I cannot imagine such violence.”
Investigators informed the victim’s family that they planned to file charges once morest “multiple students” involved in the murder.
The Las Vegas police investigation is still ongoing.
