An outing in the Veerse Meer, in Zeeland, turned into tragedy for a 54-year-old Belgian. According to Het Hart van Nederland, the man had come to dive in this lake in the Netherlands when he felt unwell, around 1:45 p.m.
Emergency services, including a medical helicopter, were called to the scene and passers-by tried to resuscitate the fifty-year-old, but without success. The man died.
