According to Thai media, a Belgian couple was found dead in a luxury villa in Phuket. The octogenarians, who lived in the Asian country with their son and his wife, were found lifeless by the latter.
Jongchit J, the daughter-in-law, reported that the couple did not show up for breakfast and therefore worried the 62-year-old lady. She then went up to the bedroom and discovered the two lifeless bodies.
Emergency services then arrived on site and found the body of Maria Alfonsine on the bed, while that of Florent Leon was in the bathroom.
Three avenues are favored by investigators: a double suicide, a murder and a suicide or a double homicide.
