A young man who is a friend and gym trainer has been arrested in the death of former Miss Andhra. Akshay’s friend was arrested in the case of inciting suicide. The incident took place on July 25. 25-year-old former Miss Andhra Vidya Sri was found hanging dead at home.
Vidyashree met Aksha, a gym instructor in Basaveshwara Nagar, through Facebook. When friendship turned to love, the two started dating and decided to get married. Vidya lent money to Shri Akshay following the promise of marriage. However, later Akshay drifted away from Vidya. Akshay said that even if Vidya dies, he has no problem.

Akshay did not respond to phone calls and messages. After this, when Vidyashree asked for the money back, Akshay threatened to release Vidya’s private pictures.

In the suicide note in Vidyashree’s diary, it was written that Akshay was responsible for his death and had mistreated him. Vidyashree lived with his mother and younger brother. Vidyashree, an MCA graduate, was an employee of American multinational Blue Yonder and a model. She also won the title of Miss Andhra.
