The Mexican wrestler Rey Destroyer lost his life at the age of 22 due to brain damage following suffering an accident during a performance on March 2 when he was in a fight once morest Black Spider Jr., at Venue 867 in the Old Town of Monterrey.

Figures from the world of wrestling have regretted this event, as the renowned LA Parka wrestler, Adolfo Tapia Ibarra, sent an emotional message through his social networks. “My deepest condolences, I have just been informed that unfortunately our colleague Rey Destroyer has just passed away. I join the grief and pain that overwhelms the family. Rest in peace King Destroyer.”
On the other hand, Triple A also spoke out following the unfortunate news: “On behalf of Lucha Libre AAA Worldwide, we regret the sensitive death of Rey Destroyer. We send our condolences to his family and raise our prayers to heaven for his rest,” they wrote on the official Lucha Libre AAA account.
Psycho Clown was another of the fighters who mourned the death, sending an emotional message to the family and even to King Destroyer himself.
