The Mexican wrestler Rey Destroyer lost his life at the age of 22 due to brain damage following suffering an accident during a performance on March 2 when he was in a fight once morest Black Spider Jr., at Venue 867 in the Old Town of Monterrey.

I join the grief and pain that overwhelms the family. Rest in peace King Destroyer.”

On the other hand, Triple A also spoke out following the unfortunate news: “On behalf of Lucha Libre AAA Worldwide, we regret the sensitive death of Rey Destroyer. We send our condolences to his family and raise our prayers to heaven for his rest,” they wrote on the official Lucha Libre AAA account.

Psycho Clown was another of the fighters who mourned the death, sending an emotional message to the family and even to King Destroyer himself.

“Rest in peace, King Destroyer. A hug to your entire family and I hope for a quick resignation. God bless you […]. Fly high old man, it is with such sadness that we say goodbye to you at your young age, but go away happy, you ended up where many of us would like, above a ring doing what we like most, see you soon,” he wrote on his Facebook account.
