Caracas: Miss Venezuela contest winner Ariana Vera (26) died of injuries sustained in a car accident. On July 13, the car Ariana was driving collided with a truck in Lake Lona, Orlando. The accident happened following Ariana fell asleep.
Ariana was treated at the scene of the accident but died on the way to the hospital, according to her mother Vivian. Ariana was also a well-known model. Ariana was supposed to represent Venezuela in the Miss Latin America pageant in the Dominican Republic this coming October.
