A 57-year-old woman, her 25-year-old daughter and her 22-year-old son hiking in Rochers-de-Naye, in Vaud in Switzerland (southwest), were found dead on Friday, following their disappearance had been reported Thursday evening. The family, of Dutch origin, had not received any news since Wednesday morning.
The three bodies were found late Friday morning, around 300 meters below a steep path, Vaud police said in a press release Saturday morning. The mother and her daughter, on vacation in Switzerland, were domiciled in the Netherlands while the son resided in the Lausanne region.
