A man was found dead in Aalst, in East Flanders, on Thursday evening and his wife seriously injured, confirms the mayor of Aalst Christoph D’Haese following information from the newspapers Het Laatste Nieuws and Het Nieuwsblad.
The circumstances are not yet known. The man died and his wife, seriously injured, was taken to hospital. His days would be in danger. The family’s four children are unharmed and have been brought to safety, D’Haese said.
