“The circumstances of the death are currently being investigated and an autopsy will be carried out,” reports Lieselotte Claessens, spokesperson for the Antwerp public prosecutor’s office. The victim, a 35-year-old man, was found unconscious on Friday evening and died shortly following in hospital.
The festival-goer was in a restricted public area, linked to a special ticketing formula. Last week already, a first death had been noted. Nikola, a 24-year-old man, was found unresponsive following an overdose at the festival site.
