Chawara: Two persons, including the owner of a garment shop, died following an insulated van collided with a bike near the Chawara bus stand on the national highway. The deceased have been identified as Kiranraj (48) of Karunagappally Patanayarkulangara south Kaitawarat (Rariram) house and Radhakrishnan (52) of Chavara Pudukkad Krishnaalayam, who runs a garment shop at Chavara Kotankulangara Junction.

The accident happened near Chavara bus stand on the national highway at 7.30 last night. An insulated van carrying milk and going towards Kollam collided with a bike. The van ran over Kiran’s body, which fell on the road. Died instantly. Radhakrishnan also died on the way to the district hospital.
Kiran’s wife is Soumya. Son: Appu Kiran. Radhakrishnan’s wife Manju (Asha Worker Chavara Gram Panchayat). Children: Harikrishnan and Yadukrishnan. Both of them will be cremated today.
