In a terrible accident that broke the hearts of both Jordanians and Saudis, 5 people from a Jordanian family died and another person was injured yesterday, Monday, in a terrible traffic accident that occurred on the Makkah-Riyadh road in Saudi Arabia.

Haitham Khattab, head of the humanitarian and accident committee at the Nashami Forum, explained that the accident claimed the life of the young head of the family, “Malik Akram Kharma” and his four children, “Akram, Maya, Dana, and Dima,” while his wife’s condition was described as good.

He also indicated in a statement to Al Arabiya.net that the family was on its way back to the UAE following performing Umrah.

In addition, he stated that the dead were evacuated and the injured were transferred to King Fahd Hospital in the Hofuf region in Saudi Arabia.

He stressed that the Jordanian embassy is following up with all parties in Jordan and Saudi Arabia in order to transfer the bodies.

Residents and residents of the area where the accident occurred in Saudi Arabia rushed to get off their vehicles and call for an ambulance immediately and provide the required assistance.

A group of Saudi citizens also stayed in the hospital, with the mother, to comfort her in her painful affliction of losing 4 of her children and her husband.
